Mercure Maintenon

Really nice location, though a bit off the beaten track so I wonder how it will survive as a mid-range hotel. That may be explain why the place seemed pretty deserted even in high season. Staff were very pleasant, some English spoken.

A cozy hotel in the area. Spa with a pool are available, which was a surprise, as somehow I missed that in the description. Free parking, very helpful staff, super close to the Maintenon castle which is a must visit

Our room was really nice, spacious, quiet and confortable. The hotel is in the middle of a cute village with a beautiful castle. The staff was really friendly and accommodating. They forgot to let us know room service wasn’t available during our stay but when we arrived the receptionist gave us a list of restaurant we could go to which we really appreciated. Thanks to that we had the best meal in “le soleil” restaurant which was 3min walk away from the hotel.

Room, parking, location.

Nice hotel with good facilities in a good location for an overnight stay enroute down to the Dordogne. We dined in the restaurant and the food was good, service was excellent. An overall pleasant experience.
